Who are we?
We are four primary schools and four pre-schools within Direzione Didattica Pinerolo IV Circolo. Two primary classes in our Institute are running a special national project called "cl@sses 2.0" that implies students to be equipped with tablets and their classrooms with IWB and other devices. The school in Roletto has a long tradition of CLIL projects (since 2000) and eTwinning projects (4 National Quality Prizes + Italian and European Labels); they also won a National prize for best practice in European projects and two European labels for languages (2007-2010). The main school, F.Parri, hosts a multicultural library with books in more than 80 different languages and it is open to the local community. Including students with educative needs, such as learning problems, developing CLIL, early FL learning and ICT are the main priorities of our school. The website of our School District is: www.dd4pinerolo.gov.it and we have two clil websites: eclil4you.weebly.it and letsclil.weebly.com (where contributions from European teachers are welcomed).
